Tank Shanghai is a multifunctional cultural hub that has turned five aviation fuel containers at the former Longhua Airport into galleries, bookstores, restaurants, and an education center. A string quartet of Orchestra musicians performed a free concert at the facility. Tank Shanghai aims to foster connections among the public, contemporary art, urban life, and nature. The Orchestra signed a new three-year agreement with ShanghaiTech University and the Shanghai Philharmonic, formalizing a new strategic partnership that will enable meaningful people-to-people exchange through collaborative residency work.
